Well, almost.

Yesterday AND today (early morning) was fun. Really fun. Hehe. Let me share what happened.

We had our play yesterday. Before the play, I was nervous because Sir Joey challenged us. Not only that, there were LOADS of people watching. *grade seven comes to mind* Grah. Really.

Watched Topaz’ play first and I really didn’t get it, apart from it being highly political and insane (there was this scientist wearing a pink nightgown AND said scientist was supposed to be a guy). I honestly think they were trying to be funny, but hey, it wasn’t bad.

It was our turn next. It’s either we make it or break it. Why? Part of our English grade was the play. But nevermind, we did had fun. And in the end, those rehearsals (except probably the one at Joe’s lola’s house) were worth it.

Because we could hear applause right after every scene.

It was one of the best things I’ve ever heard, and it gave me encouragement to do my best. It was like ecstasy heroin to an addict, ’twas like fuel to a car that’s running low. Yeah, I loved the audience. Thank you so much. Your applause, well, it made us high. :D

And TJ, you are so marvelous. The audience loved you. Damn, you were really, really GOOD. No, wait, that’s an understatement. I can’t describe your acting, really, because Loki ROCKED the house. Especially that synch thing with Elvis. OMG I can’t believe you guys perfected it on the day itself! OMG.

Cam, you were so damn good too. :D

It was ownage. Sheer ownage. I love you, Garnet. :D I’m gonna miss the practices at Cam’s house. *sighs*

Opal presented last. Although really, I didn’t get theirs, probably because it involved time machines and, well, Sir Joey was right. Time machines aren’t really suited for plays. But their backdrops were good. :D

After that, Sir Joey congratulated us for a job well done, and we went to the caf for our, uhm, “play practice” (emphasis on the double quotation marks). Right, Garnet? :P

Then we went to the gym for the closing ceremony thingy. And then we ate. And hung out by the area near the creek. Which is where we met Oscar (malas, we were supposed to go there at midnight!).

And then, clean up. And waited for 4 pm because we had to set up our tents. Yeah. I think my knee cap got dislocated, thanks to carrying too many bags. My knee still hurts like hell.

And with that, we started with our batch stargazing activity. Yeah. I so love stars. Although we didn’t get to see much, thanks to Quezon City’s really polluted air. And finally, one item from my list of things to do before I die is crossed out. Wait, two items, actually: Go stargazing and stay awake for at least 24 hours straight. Kewl.

And I lost my voice. Crap. Now, I sound like a guy. Shoot.

We also watched a few movies along the way (October Sky and Hercules) and a documentary (but I was in my tent that time, being emo as usual). And listened to lectures. And we were made to lie down on the field and just look at the stars. I loved that part. *Lightyears by Eheads comes to mind* Cool, I got to see Saturn with my naked eyes AND with a telescope. :D *Saturn Return by Eheads comes to mind all of a sudden*

In the words of Izo, “Walang tulugan.”

I love stargazing. *goes out and looks at the night sky*

maaarz signing out.
